All shared, reseller, and semi-dedicated hosting accounts include free transfer and migration assistance from your old provider. To move from your old host you will want to submit a ticket with our account transfers department:
Please note: If you are moving from a cPanel based host we will be able to complete a full cPanel account transfer including all files, databases, emails, etc. If your old host does not use cPanel as their control panel our transfer assistance will be limited to transferring only your websites files and databases.

- In your ticket message provide our transfers team with your old hosts control panel login URL, your control panel username and password, and any other special instructions for the migration. Alternatively you can upload a backup of your account you wish to have restored to your hosting account with us via sFTP/SCP and let us know the path to the backup.
- Once your ticket message has been filled out and includes all the information required for us to complete the transfer click the "Submit" button.
- Account transfers generally take 4 hours or less to complete. Our team will notify you when the migration has started and also when it is completed.
As of September 2019 cPanel has adjusted their pricing structure from a flat fee per license to a usage based structure, meaning as a cloud compute customer you are limited to the number of cPanel accounts you can create depending on the license you are using. Hawk Host currently offers the following four license options for cloud compute plans:

For example, if you intended on hosting 25 cPanel accounts from your cloud compute, you would require the cPanel Pro Cloud license. If your usage grew and required 31 or more cPanel accounts, you would need to upgrade to the cPanel Plus Cloud license.

Accounts are setup 24/7/365. Setup time may vary depending on current availability and the information you provide upon signup. If an order is found to be of high risk or requires management review, setup time may be delayed until the right personnel are available. Orders flagged for review are generally setup within 12 hours.
Upon signing up you will receive an email stating we have received your order and we are processing it. You may also receive an email stating balances must be paid before account setup as well as an email once payment has been made. Once this is completed you will receive a new account information email with all the information you will need to get your site online at Hawk Host.

We currently utilize Acronis backup software with a 7 day rolling snapshot of everything on your account. This includes individual files, e-mails, and databases. You can restore a single file / database, or full account by simply logging into your cPanel account and selecting the "Acronis" option. You can also request restore assistance from our team through a support ticket.
We currently run the latest stable build of CloudLinux. At this time we don't offer Windows based hosting.
